How much pigment samples are needed to press in a pan?

Hi, to press you'd need 2 1/4 tsp's. I sell large 1/2's and my buyers that do press say they have enough to press and have some left over. My 1/2's are bigger then many other 1/2 tsp sellers and it's cool cause then you have enough to press and wear loose. Personally I dont press, I've always worn pigments loose but I do know 1/4 tsp isnt enough, 3/8-1/2 tsp should do it
