I never thought to use it for a lip brush! I am going to start doing that. This is totally off topic but what MAC brush would be good for concealer?

Perhaps the 227?

My 187SE from Colour Forms sheds hair too. I wash it about once a week and each time I do that, it will lose about 2 strains of the black hair. I have 188 regular and it feels slightly softer, and does not shed.

That will be the case with the brushes when they are machine made.

Ugh...think i'll just skip the brushes. It'll be a waste of hard earned money if it keeps shedding and it's stiff

To be honest, I use last year's lip brush (that came with the Basic Brush set) for fluideliners.

I know it sounds kindda weird, but it works! Totally.

I will be getting the warm eyes quad fo sho. But if you don't own Satin Taupe or Carbon, they are a must in my opinion.

No lip palettes for me. I think they are messy and they are a bitch to carry around and reapply. Me no likey.

GORGEOUS!

and finally...

The pigments we have all seen so I am passing on those b/c I have most of them.

Brushes are the same ol and they are NOT worth buying if you already own MAC brushes. The are stiffer than last years!! :\ i don't care if they have RED HANDLES, so not worth my money.

The glosses are just eh, I am passing on all of them too.

I can't wait!! Must call my MA today again and ask if there are news about the release date here...

Hi guys, I don't know if I have this correct, but I think I have read some of you have pre-ordered the holiday sets???

Do you think I could do this at Macy's in Washington DC, I could call them up and collect them when i'm there on the 5th November???

TIA for your help

Not only does my 187SE from last year's Heirloom brush set sheds, it bleeds dye too! I have always washed it with the MAC Brush Cleanser, but it still bleeds after like 8 washes? Now my bristles are a gross greyish color
ssad.gif
i'm thinking of ditching it for good and purchase the real full sized 187 instead! Anybody experienced this also?

Now i'm really reconsidering buying the 4 basic brush set from the Adoring Carmine collection, though they have all the brushes i've been wanting to buy!

I use a #239. It's so soft and blends really well. Another quirky brush trick is to line the lips with a #266. People tend to stick to eye lining with it, but it works great to line lips.

Ehhh... I'm disappointed now to read that the brushes aren't going to be of good quality... I guess though 5 brushes for $50 was too good to be true!

Its not that I didn't like them necessarily, I just didn't like the finishes and I felt the colors weren't remarkable. I may re-evaluate on the official launch date though.

Re: MAC-Adoring Carmine/Passionately Red/Passions of Red/Little Darling Discussion

For some silly reason I passed the brush sets from the last holiday collection
fool.gif

I can still remember my MA showed them and asked: "Are you sure you don't want a brush set?" I guess I wanted to save some money
th_rolleye0014.gif

I will take these brush sets now no matter what quality they should have. My Colour Forms brushes have become really soft after washing them.
