Dazzleglasses and cremesheen glasses.
And they won't explain and bottom line still means everything. Addicts will still buy, new customers might not know etc.

Pigments is what got me into Mac years ago, and now I am really starting to hate Mac. I don't think Ill purchase any new mac pigments because Ill feel too annoyed and ripped off. I feel like running to the Mac store right now to buy the last of the full-size pigments I wanted but I really allready have all that I want from the perm collection.

I do not think that is quite the same thing at all - those were pigments which structure/contents/weight were not regular. But to reduce the size of ALL pigments with no price change... That's just low I think

I am considering filing an offical complaint when I next shop for pigments (which will be Universal mix and Rich life I guess

) - do you think it would make any difference if more people wanted their MA to file this particular complaint at the counters/stores?

Rich Life is SO pretty!! I have a sample, and I love layering it over other browns like Brown Down, Bateau, and A Little Folie. It just gives them a pop of shimmer!

I dunno if it's been mentioned but the working name is Brown Soul, and it looks exactly like Dark Soul, just brown! Yum.

Oh, well it sounds like a MUST HAVE for steamgoth (steampunk + goth) looks. I have been avoiding browns but I guess it's time.

From what I understand, MAC doesn't listen to complaints from MAs, only from consumers. You're better off sending them a little e-mail.

I want Rich Life even more now! But damn....less product and same price? Sooooo annoying and bad for my budget. It seems like such a waste of $23.50 CAD, when I can buy something else. We will see.

I don't know if they will listen or not, but I refuse to let this thing pass. I will email them too and complain, as a usual and loyal costumer I refuse to accept this without any fight.

If enough people will write an email they at least have to listen/read instead of just ignoring it if it would just be an email from one customer.

MAC is by far the brand with the most loyal customers. Customers from brands like Benefit or Stila buy their products while a lot of MAC's customers collect their products.. especially pigments.
Pigments are a very popular collectible and I guess more loyal customers and collectors buy pigments than average customers who may prefer pressed eyeshadows instead of loose eyeshadows. This is why the new packaging and crazy price increase are such a big deal.

OCD- and wallet-me are still freaking out. I want the two pigments from this collection so badly but not really in the new packaging and I can't support this nasty price increase.. 10% would have been ok.. 20% kinda ok.. but 67%? No.. 67% are just nasty.

I agree with you completely. My thoughts exactly. I can understand a price increase (same weight and packaging) of even 20%, but 67% NO, NO. That's a steal.

We should commit to write them, as you say, if enough people complaints they will have to listen... Or at least, we'll know we didn't kept our arms crossed.

Pigments are MAC's most unique and special item. It's outrageous what they're doing.

My thoughts EXACTLY.
I too, will contact them after the collection is released to let them know this is unacceptable. I am still kind of in disbelief about this. It just seems wrong!

Nope. We will get a new smaller packaging for the old price. This means it will be more expensive in comparison.

I'm loving the swatches of the pigments! I was supposed to be saving for the spring colour forcast collection but it looks like I'll have to make a purchase from this collection so, for me it's going to be rich life pigment, and showstopper eyeshadow so I can complete my self made quad...boy am i going to be broke!
