Hi everyone. I don't know if my posts are showing

. I was wondering if anyone that has seen the spiced chocolate quad in person could tell me if Brash is the same copper tone as Coppering, and if Sweet Chestnut is close to Trax or Cranberry. I would appreciate any advice

i got it last night. It is prettier in person. the colors are so vibrant and they mix so well! Last night at the cult of cherry event I went to a couple of the MA's wore it and I fell in love! This was the one I planned on NOT buying either....

Keep your eye on the swatch thread. People will probably start comparing swatches of similar shades once the collection is released next week.

If I was actually going to buy from this collection, which I'm not because I'm so full of self-restraint, this is what I guess I'd get:

So Scarlet
Lightly Ripe (gorgeous)
Blooming
Cherry Blossom
Cult of Cherry
Rich and Ripe

I'd skip the quads and either buy more Starflash or save for upcoming collections.

My list looks pretty much like yours! I added So Scarlet...cause I just saw the most lovely swatch of it on lips

& I am getting Jampacked now too plus 2 quads

^^^ I loved some of the swatches I've seen, plus I think it can give anyone a kind of darker lip look even if you just apply a very light application of it. That way you can enjoy the dark lip without looking toooooo dark

Oh, & it looks like jelly

I already have Russian Red lipstick, which should be okay, as So Scarlet looks too dark for me. Lightly Ripe and Rich and Ripe look lovely, but at the same time seem to be "garden-variety" pinks. So I've limited my wishlist to two lipglasses: Cherry Blossom and Cult of Cherry.

I love reds so this collection is so appealing to me! *screams*

I wanted Deep Truth and Shadowy lady already so I have to get this quad! I'm going to get So Scarlet and Cult of Cherry lip glass as long as it isn't too warm or bright. In the swatches it looks perfect.

I'm hitting the pro shop when it opens tomorrow! I hope I don't knock anything down running over to the collection!

I forgot to mention I already have Rapturous, in fact two of them and this is my favorite mac l/s!

I am looooving this collection. I'm definitely picking up the Spiced Chocolate quad, and I'm really tempted on the Kirsch mattene. I'm pretty pale and it's a little dark, but I have Rapturous (which I LOVE) and it looks great for everyday wear just patted on with a finger. I'm hoping Kirsch will be the same....

Can someone do swatches of the 'so scarlet lipstick' and the 'port red lipstick'? thank you. Or if you own port red and already have so scarlet are they similar?

The finishes are different as well. So Scarlet is an amplified cream and Port Red is a frost, so I imagine that the appearance is going to be quite different between them.
