That was mean and rude.

As you say, you are a loyal costumer who spends her money and go back to the counter over and over, they should cherish and pamper you. Even if the manager was right at being mad with the MA for taking the pre-order, she should have waited until you left the store to make comments to the MA or politely tell you, "sorry but we're not taking pre-orders yet".

i think it is wrong that her attitude was like that, however i also understand where she was coming from. i imagine that you were nice about knowing about the new collections and didn't do it in a 'i know more than you' snotty way. however sadly there are lots of people who are snotty about things like that. in my work i get it all teh time. a customer will come in and ask em a question about a product that hasn't been released yet - just wispered about on some tv forum. and when i say i have no idea what they are talking about i have been called stupid, useless and not very good! sorry but why woul i spend my free time going on tv forums just to read about a product that most likely come out in the uk anyways?

Hmm, now I'm thinking if maybe I should just get the Summer Rose beauty powder instead of Azalea Blossom Ombre blush from Spring Color Forecast. It'll definitely help ease the load on my wallet :thinking:. Are they quite similar in color?

I hear ya! I just took a good look at my $$ situation and am debating just passing on makeup for the next few months. The only thing I would be sad to miss out on is the Blue India np, but other wise I can get by with the colors I have. I don't need another grey e/s, or teal (I don't even wear teals usually!), and Perky can tide me over for Free to Be for a while. And I have Vintage Grape to keep me happy for now. It's really cute packaging though, lol. But maybe it will end up at a cco someday...

nooooo...if the summer rose is the same one that came out with Rose Romance, that's in no way similar to Azalea Blossom! Azalea blossom is pigmented and super gorgeous on and it's a blush. Summer Rose is a beauty powder and much sheerer, the texture was also a lil chalky. It barely showed on me and I believe I'm quite lighter than you (NW25). So the only use for summer rose is highlight and it's not even the most amazing pink highlighter. Azalea Blossom though is my fave pink blush,.....and I have loads of pink blush. You can make it more pink or more lavender depending on which part of the blush u use

yes lots of people commented on the sheerness of summer rose powder, so from seeing swatches i also agree that they are not similar at all - azalea has payoff!

Summer Rose has a much better formula this time around! The Rose pattern made the Rose Romance powders brick hard, and this newer one, while the same color, is so much more pigmented, softer, and so much easier to apply! It's still not full-on color payoff, but it's not as sheer as last time!

So did I- I couldn't remember which collection until your post - wow, was that from the Madame B? I was using it at least 3 times a week back then. I didn't get Barbie's edition, though.
