Definitely. I ended up going a little more simple last night and wore In Synch with Moth to a Flame dazzleglass, and it was a beautiful sparkly nude.

Now I want RIT. Look what you've done
lol.gif
It's a perfection on you and doesn't look too shimmery at all. Is it anywhere similar to Dainty?

Thank you! I don't have Dainty, but I really want it! I imagine they're kinda similar since the pinks are both yellow-pinks, but the peach swirl in RIT is going to veer it more into neutral territory.

It's not glittery at all. I did a couple of really good layers to get the intensity I wanted, and I didn't even have to buff it down with a kabuki brush like I often have to do with MSFs. It has a nice, shimmery sheen.

ETA: I had Moon River and got rid of it when I heard this was coming out. I loooooved Moon River, but RIT is so much better, imho. Moon River was too glittery. I always found myself leaning toward the pink side and avoiding the marbled side.

So light on the lips. I used very little and blended as per the suggestions on here. I will be purchasing my first MAC back up

Alright, I'll be leaving home on my way to the pro store in an hour or so. I am sold on at least one pencil (mouth off), but I'm hearing Boy Bait is super unflattering and milky on the lips. I have large lips and I don't want my lip lines to be so prominent. Maybe if I used a liner with it? I'm so torn. I know I should wait and see, but I hate going into Mac without a game plan.

I wish you could go with me, elegant. I'm going with a fellow makeup obsessed buddy, so that helps.

Naked and the one other pencil seems so pale to me. Chestnut seems too dark. I will ask an MA for a recommendation, though. I have Cork and Hodgepodge so maybe one of those will do the trick.

Mouth off looks orangey to me. I want it to pair with the coral bobbi brown lipsticks I bought.

Going to the pro store is dangerous. I have fallen in love with pigments and I can't be responsible for what happens when I see them.

It was my plan to call the very next day, only to see/hear that my package arrived so I didnt have to
lol.gif

The only thing that did change was the company that delivered it
lol.gif
Which I did not like because I got no confirmation!
nonono.gif
Before or after like I usually do with FedEx. This better not be a perm thing.

Anyway, I finally get to open it today and I see that I have Boldly Bare and TWO In Sync's!!! No Naked liner!!!
cry.gif
This has never happened to me before. Ugh
ssad.gif
And for the 2nd time in a row, no free sample mascara after using the proper code.
ssad.gif
Wth?

I was so excited to try Boldly Bare! Now, in high school, Spice was my HG MAC pencil, but I find it so dark for me nowadays so I have to apply it lightly, if at all
tong.gif
. That's why I still have an older one in a silver coloured pencil instead of black
lol.gif

Boldly Bare reminds me of a lighter version of Spice. So wearable and perfect! Annnnd soo soft! I found it rather creamy!
love.gif
I applied semi-light handed and it came on so smooth and just perfect
smiles.gif
It's not the exact colour of my lips but close enough to not look silly at all
greengrin.gif

I'll try [one of my two
thmbdn.gif
] In Sync's next

Shontay, I'd imagine Boldly Bare would look smoking hot on you!!

My list is still the same - In sych, Naked, Two Virtues and Rhapsody in Two. Trimmed in pink and Boldly Bare are calling me too though, just a bit.
cooldude.gif
And I really hope that the Cremesheens are going to pop up to counters too. What do you ladies think - if we didn't get this collection here, could we still get the cremesheens (as a perm. products)?

I bought In synch but it looks weird on my lips without blending it with my fingers.. it's so nude on me. I didn't even want to try naked if in synch is already a 'nude' on me. I also got RIT, Buddy Up and Two Virtues. Wore RIT today and Colour 4 quad (the bronze-y brown one) on my eyes and it was lurrvve..

so you prefer naked liner to lip erase? i wanted to buy lip erase in may when i'm at the pro store in paris but now i'm not sure..
should i buy a backup of naked instead?

Its shimmery, but definitely no glitter. I'm closing in on 40 and there's no way I'd wear glitter on my cheeks. I wore this on my cheeks this morning to my boys' basketball games and I felt like spring had arrived. LOL

I like the color better than my concealers
th_dunno.gif
especially around my mouth. The color & consistency is even better than my Paula Dorf pencil that I had been using

Yep! x 100 The color, the consistency & smoothness, ease of application - yes. Lip erase seemed to blend in with the lip product applied over simply because of its consistency, but the Naked pencil is so smooth that the color you put on top - sits on top & remains true to it's color.

Should you buy a backup
lol.gif
look at my sig line - do you think I'm a good one to ask that question
lol.gif
just kidding

Try it first to see if the color is right for you. BTW - I have verrrry pigmented lips

I agree it's always better to hand pick these mineralize blushes and MSFs too, they vary so much. I've gotten some really bummer MSFs by ordering online but then again I guess it's all in the eyes of the beholder as far as what's the good part. With TV though, elegant, I'm not sure how much it matters. If you're wanting to pick out just the violet then yes, but for the overall effect I don't think TV is gonna give us lavender no matter what. Mine is over a third violet and when I swatched a mix making sure I covered a good area of violet on my finger, and then did the same thing with Azalea Blossom ombre, the AB finger was *way* more lavender/less pinky than the TV. The violet just doesn't seem to have much of an influence on the pink at all.
