^^ I say ask for a sample to take home and apply it yourself...I bet you like it way better! MUFE HD really is not thick if you don't want it to be. Then again you looked gorgeous in Studio Sculpt so why bother really?

Pretty Kitty, if you can go to a counter that would be your best bet, do some swatches, also get samples of each and try them both out.

She gave me a sample to take but I dread using it. lol She only gave it to me because they didn't have the 127 in stock. I don't like liquid so maybe that is why I am still hesitant. I honestly don't know what it is, its creamy and thick to me and I know you can use a lil and blend it out but the oxidation and fakeness of it didn't suit me. I think I will stick to Studio Sculpt. Its moisturizing and gives nice coverage.

I have both acne scarring and active acne and it definitely did not cake on, dry out, or even rub off like previous concealers. This concealer is very creamy and blends onto your spot like a dream. It stays put. But you definitely need a loose powder to set it. It provides enough coverage to make all your scars disappear. Hope this helps!

You are gonna win some or lose some with ANY product from ANY brand. Its just the way it is because we all have different skin types. I am I was bummed when MUFE didn't work out for me b/c I was really looking forward to it but I am happy that Studio Sculpt works and its cheaper.

I bought the foundation on friday and I have 4 pimples today. I rarely break out. Its never even a thought when I buy foundation. I'm so so so sad.

I'm going to let my skin clear up and try it again, but I'm fairly certain I know exactly what the cause is.

Update: It probably was mix of the foundation and my horomones. This stuff will make me breakout if I'm not careful about getting it all off. Its the tiny barely under the surface baby acne. But, if I'm a good girl about cleansing this stuff is a-ok.

Very true. But sadly, up until this point, every MAC foundation has broken me out badly, but since Im such a devoted fan of MAC, I of course had to try the new foundation.

I noticed the texture is creamy, but a very thick kind of creamy...Any tips on on how to apply and what to use to apply the foundation and concealer?

I do love this foundation but will have to go back and get rematched, maybe another shade will look better on me..fingers crossed. As far as the concealer..oh its so perfect and creamy..finally a perfect concealer

uh, what the hell was she smoking!? you don't have to mix/swirl it with anything anytime you use it.

Ok, I've heard 1 or 2 people compare the Studio Sculpt concealer to Studio Tech foundation. I haven't tried the new concealers yet so I can't comment on that..

do you guys think it's possible that the new concealers are small versions of studio tech? After all, studio finish is a smaller version of Full Coverage foundation with spf.

any thoughts?

I agree, studio tech is a great foundation but i'm not really sure i'd want to use it just as concealer.. here's hoping the new concealer is a brand new formula

edit- on second thought, i think it is a new formula because MAC claims it's water resistant. as far as I know studio tech isn't water-resistant?

I never had this with SFF or the Full Coverage foundation but I got three new pimples the day after I used Studio Sculpt. It could be hormonal because I got two before I used the new foundation. I really hope it was just hormonal because I really like Studio Sculpt.

Now I have to wait till my face cleared up for my next try.

Yeah...it's definitely the foundation causing my break outs. I only had 2 small white heads when I first applied it two days ago, now there's a whole mountain of pimples on my right cheek!

Ugh, and I loved everything about this foundation. The staying power, the texture, the everything! MAC definitely did something right with this foundation...hopefully they can create a similar formula that won't break me out.

I'll be exchanging this for some more hello kitty stuff. Haha.

I felt the same way about MUFE HD i though it was gonna to end my foudation search, alas it did, but like you say everyone is different no one product is going work for everone, that way God invented samples and returns

RE: Kittylurve

I'm the same shade as you. YES def get lighter I tried the NC 25 it looked alright a teeny tiny bit darker than my usual foundation (nothing too noticable) but as the day wore on it did get darker. So bought the NC 20 and it's a lot better (it still darkens after you apply though).HTH

hi,

I would go lighter, but to be sure get a MA to color match you. If you're ordering online I would just go with a shade lighter than you normally would.HTH
