My birthday was a week and a half ago and I was in a rut, nothing I wanted. I had the day off today and spent the day with a friend of mine.
Checked out the new MAC collection (pret a papier)....and it was just *meh*...not my thing. I thought for sure I would get Instant Chic blush from that collection, but it didn't look different enough from other peachy-pink blushes I have. I did walk out of MAC with a studio finish concealer & "Hey" eyeshadow from the Prep for Colour collection (Hey is very similar to Grand Entrance from Starflash, just not as glittery/frosty). The lighting at the mall I was at made really love VG Cyndi...it really looked different there than at my regular MAC store. But I decided to wait on that
one...
Then I went to Sephora got:
Benefit Powderflage
theBalm Downboy blush (I love the velvety texture & awesome pigmentation!). This is a very cool, light pink.
theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer (face highlighter and eyeshadow...gorgeous!)
and probably my favorite purchase, Illamasqua "Unrequited" blush:
it's a warmer bright pink, almost corally
I *almost* bought Illamasqua eyeshadow in "Intense"...this matte peacock teal color that was soooo gorgeous. But I decided to wait, as
I have been on a neutral e/s kick lately.
