Gals who are glitterphobes should check out New Order in person before purchasing IMHO.
If I remember correctly this does have some sparkle to it but I don't recall it being extremely heavy.

As long as New Order has fine glitter, it won't be a problem for me. I just can't deal with chunky glitter *cough* Super Orgasm *cough*.

I'm getting really impatient for this collection to get here. Nars has offered the best collections this year and I can't wait to see more

A french beauty blogger attended a press event at Sephora. On her blog she posted a video of her doing an eye make-up using Dogon and a couple other products (not from Nars).

She also says that Dogon will be a limited edition.

You're welcome. And indeed, it looks awesome! I think it's going to sell really well. In fact I think the whole collection is going to be huge. I've looked at other brands' summer collections and this one stands out. But I'm a huge Nars fan, so I might be biased.

Summer will launch in May :) I'm thinking May 15 will be the official launch online... and then Sephora and NARS counters 2-4 weeks later. That's how it typically seems to go :)

cool. i wonder when the uk will get it? i have never followed nars release dates closely because the few things i have are from the perm line.

There's only one online release date for Nars seasonal collections, because it's an international release date. So if it's may 15th for the US, it'll be may 15th for the UK, France, etc... :)
However, some new lines (like the new primers for example) are sometimes sold at Sephora US exclusively for a while, and only later made available on Nars websites (or your not-US Sephora).

This is what i was told from nars customer service:

Unfortunately, we do not have information on the exact launch date for the
Summer Collection; however we've been advised that the possible launch is
scheduled for the end of April to early May.
