Newly Minted HELP!

I love this color but i cant getit to stick on my eyelids to save my life!
I used it with bare canvas paint,what base do you use with this eyeshadow?

I did the same thing and the color payoff was a dud.

So I ended up exchanging it for another e/s. I guess it depends on your skin tone OR what base you use under it.
Someone suggested to use Pharaoh paint pot from the McQueen collection and then use newly minted over it. I believe the swatch is in the swatch forum. And the color does pay off over it so you might want to give that a try. =)

I like it as a lower lash liner.

I used it with Smashbox's lid primer underneath and it worked out fine.

i use it on top of lucky jade and beige-ing shadesticks and it looks fine

The #242 is much better at packing on e/s in my opinion compared the the #239. Pharaoh paint pot makes an amazing base for this

I just gave up on newly minted. I've tried it over UDPP and beige-ing ss and as soon as I go to blend it, it's gone! We didn't get the mcqueen collection at the mac counter here

I find that it sticks pretty well to paint pots, but you have to baby it...if you try to blend it out it goes away which really stinks. =(
