Okay so i love love love love this vanity - http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/fuo/2524670542.html but it's pretty damn expensive too. but then I looove this on too! http://www.target.com/Guidecraft-Classic-Vanity-Stool-White/dp/B0036IGWKU/ref=sc_qi_detailbutton and i also really like this one - http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/fuo/2542883727.html (not the one with the mirror)

My room is a light yellow with blue accents. hopefully painting it purple soon and these could go with both those colors! what do you think i should get?

personally i'd go with the last one because drawers = tidiness = <3 lol
the Target one is just so....... meh.
XD

(but i don't even have a vanity, or the space for it!)

All three are very lovely, and somewhat similar in price. So! The questions to be asked are:
1. How large is your current makeup collection?
2. Will it be getting bigger over the years?
3. What are your storage preferences? (i.e. storing lip products in one space, face products in another)
4. Do you have a separate storage unit that you keep makeup (helmer, clear plastic storage boxes), and so the vanity would be purely that-a vanity)?

If you plan on storing your things in the vanity itself, your makeup collection is fairly small, and you don't see it getting any bigger (for a while, at least), I would definitely go with the Target Guidecraft. The drawer to this vanity is very small, and would only hold a small collection. You would have a good bit a of real estate on the top for brushes, display makeup pieces, and maybe a perfume bottle or two.

The Burlington dressing table has slightly more drawer space with the added benefit of the two mini-drawers on top, which could be useful for a lot of things. The only drawback is that, out of the three, it is the most expensive, as well as being second-hand.

The last one is the most ideal, if you plan on storing your makeup in the vanity itself. The only drawback-no mirror. But you do get seven generous drawers, which would come in handy for storing back up supplies, nail polishes, etc. And since it's the cheapest of the three, it wouldn't cost to much to find an inexpensive mirror to hang on the wall behind it...

I hope this helped a little! Good luck!

As someone who is almost 49 years old, I am a firm believer in getting something you can grow into. The last one. Believe me, you will either fill it up with makeup, or makeup oriented things, hair things, or anything else you find yourself interested in throughout life that needs storage. Not to mention if you get bored of it someday and have a little girl or a little niece, what a lovely heirloom it would make!
