This Dress for a Christening??

i love this dress but is it too 'black' for a christening?
its in May but over here it'll still be cold

i cant carry off pale colours cos im dreadfully pale and just look ill lol

Maybe if you pair it with a wrap or sweater in a color?

I bet you could pull off a medium deep blue, brown, or pink. That may be a bit better, little less dark

Since it'll still be cold, and not sure if it would clash or compliment, but I'm thinking slim white? cardigan with delicate buttons.

What about something that's a little bit of color?

I bet if you did a lilac or a lavender dress that would look really pretty on you- its just deep enough to not make you look sickly but it's just light enough to be good for a christening?
