What a difference a white base makes...

Sorry for the lack of FOTDs. Stupid uni work. My skin is horrific at the moment because I've been ill/stressed, so excuse the spot mountain that is my chin.

I bought Woodwinked the other day & I'd never seen such an ugly colour on me. It came out this horrific mix that resembled Old Gold p/m mixed with Amber Lights... in a bad way. Tried it over a white base, and it looks so much better!

Eyes:
UDPP
Sleek Ink Pot - Glacier
Woodwinked e/s
Sweet Chestnut/Spiced Chocolate e/s (I never remember which one it is)
Folie e/s
Vanilla p/m
Purple from Sleek Originals Palette

Face:
No7 Blush - Apricot something
Vanilla p/m to highlight

Lips:
Shy Girl l/s - (b2med for this today, SO pretty!)

Caroline - this is gorg! Woodwinked is one of my faves.

And I agree about the white base - I use the Coastal Scents white cream liner as a base quite a lot and it really makes colours "sing".

I def. have to give that a try because Woodwinked is a mess on me too. I think it looks great on you with the white base.
