who keeps taking my MAC!

So earlier this month I had a MAC package that was either stolen or delivered to the wrong house and after 2 weeks of waiting for the "investigation" to be complete it was finally re-shipped and was supposed to be delivered Tuesday which was also my bday but guess what NO PACKAGE AGAIN....IT WAS MISSING! The thing that makes me mad is that before MAC re-shipped the package I told them to please put a signature restriction on it so that the same thing would not happen again well they tell me they don't do that but to call UPS once I have the tracking number and tell them I don't want it left without a signature...so I call UPS and UPS tells me that it has to be requested from the shipper but if I put a note on the door with instructions not to leave the package without getting a signature and then the delivery man would not leave it ...WELL I did just that and what do you think they did again....they left it on the FRONT porch! so here I go again I have to wait 2 weeks for the "investigation" to be complete. I'm worried MAC is going to think I'm lyingand just keeping the packages. I'm also worried that by the time they decide to re-ship some of the items wont be available anymore (Color Craft and Euristocrats) I ordered from the Love that look collection on Tuesday before knowing my package was missing again! and it was a little bday present to myself but this time I requested overnight delivery because I know they require signatures on overnight delivery and guess what I got that package! ugh. I'm so annoyed. My husband used to work for UPS when he was in high school and he thinks UPS is stealing it and just lying about delivering it because I have NEVER had this problem before. I ordered from Sephora a few days after the original delivery went missing and I got that.

Wow..i'm tripping that your husband said that UPS steals..man oh man what has this world come too? what a shame..well i'm glad you finally got your package ..

Well there are thieves at all jobs, in high postitions, etc... unfortunately....My Brother used to work for a delivery company and he said he watched people stealing all the time....so yeah it happens unfortunately....There are a few bad apples everywhere...especially if they are temps or people that just don't give a crap.......

I work with shipping all the time, and it is always the shipper's responsibilty to request a signature...I think the problem with MAC is they are so huge that the shipping department and the ordering department don't "talk" to each other...maybe there's no way to make specific requests when they ship out such large quantities per day? That said...gawd this SUCKS

That's horrible! Just keep doing overnight delivery....if it keeps your MAC from getting stolen and saves you the hassle then it is worth the extra few dollars.

Ugh,that's terrible!If UPS is stealing your stuff,they are bound to get busted.It is so sad that either they are stealing,or delivering it to the wrong address which is pretty incompetent.I think UPS needs to launch an investigation into these employees involved!I hope everything works out for you!

This is true, the departments don't really talk to each other. I know this, because since I live in AK they have to ship USPS, not UPS. Usually my packages have delivery confirmation, and arrive in a week. However, every once in a while they will send it in a way where it gets on the barge and I don't see it for up to a month! Maybe it's like First-class or something?

Their shipping method can be really inconsistent, so I called to see if they could make sure to send it the fast way and they said they have no way of putting notes in the order for the shippers. So basically they couldn't do anything, so it's always a gamble whether it's gonna take a week or a month.

the thing is the delivery people often don't care if u get t he package physically or not. it's not their stuff so they don't understand. i'm so sad about that.

are you able to get your packages shipped somewhere else? maybe at your work address. that way it may be a different driver who won't take it! if of course that is what is happening now.
