The brow powders shouldn't be necessary if you can get the sculptor in a shade that works for you. Its THE best brow product ever.

And, I pretty much want everything else

Oh, dear. So, I went for a small drive after work today. Ended up at a local outlet center I never frequent. I cannot confirm or deny, but I may have had a total Tom Ford freakout. Emerald Lust AND Ice Queen followed me home!
emerald lust was at my cco I should have picked it up It was beautiful What was I thinking

Thank you so very much for your thoughts and kind words. You are a girl after my own heart on the shoe front. I had totally forgotten about a pair of Prada open toe black
satin slingback wedges---talk about balance & comfort, and they look great with the dress. I have Tom Ford Vapor---a nice white NP on my toes for a nice contrast w/the
back shoes I also happen to have NARS Dominique lipstick---I'll take it w/ me as an option. I think this is a wrap!!!!
Perfect!!

Yay Starletta---I have both. Emerald lust is a fav. You scored big! EL was very hard to come by!!! ENJOY!!!!

I did a total WHAAAAA?!?! when I saw it sitting there. It was locked up, so when I told the workers I needed it, that's when I found out about Ice Queen.
Ice Queen was how I loss my virginity to Mr. Ford. Oh yes, what a night.....

Well your dress sounds totally stunning. That is one of my preferred styles for a sexy but sophisticated look. Bet you look dynamite in it. As to social gatherings with physicians, being quite familiar, I can understand your lack of enthusiasm. While all your shoe selections sound lovely, if it were me, I would make the final decision based on the shoe that felt the most balanced and comfortable for standing in because I like to feel grounded in exalted altitudes. Your e/s choices can't be topped. They are both new favorites. Will you be going for a vibrant lip or a cool lip? Depending on whether the dress is more dramatic or delicate, I would guess. You could also do Deep Purple. I just got Nars Dominique, a more muted option. I could imagine a lot of options on the lipstick front. Any way, I wish you a warmer occasion with less shop talk or signifying than one might expect-- good company, good food, easy travel. Thank you so very much for your thoughts and kind words. Remember in that part of the country one of their all time fav sayings is "marinate on that for awhile". And then of course you have "bless your little heart". Which I always thought was truly nice. Until a townie informed me be aware, it could mean they think you are a jerk....have lots of fun. Great golf in that area!!!! Food crawls are super too! Sweat pants with expandable waists work well.

Love Vapor, a lady gave me that at an event I was working at. She handed it to me, and said "please enjoy, I am too old for such a racy color". Random acts of kindness from places you never expect are very special. Her husband then offered to send me "everything". I smiled and asked him how many golf clubs and goodies to go with them did he have? His wife smiled, and whispered "thank you". Regardless of male/female/in-between we all have our passions for collecting. Don't judge me, and I won't judge you. I so agree for the shoes. I own a pair of Prada, with the green duo chrome of purple. Bought them only for the color. 5 inch heel, and it is like walking on stilts, as in the heel is placed in a weird way. More towards the center of the shoe. At nearly 6 feet without shoes, with these on I feel like I am about to tumble right into or more like onto to someone. So yes, long event, somewhat comfy shoes a must. No idea how many shoes are found after a event under tables left behind.

I think I remember someone mentioning that they were looking for Peter from the Lips and Boys collection... it's available at Bloomingdale's.

I was looking at swatches of those two. Not sure if Savage will work for me. Hope you love whichever one you choose

Okay, here's a question. Has anyone used the Suqqu brushes and how would you compare them to TF brushes? I know we love Mr. Ford here, but are they equally fabulous? Or what?
