So Skinny Dip arrived today (Paradiso comes Friday...no idea why separate). It pulls beige on me with the golden shimmer and a hint of nude pink. It actually looks very very similar to pink sand on lips (for me). It looks nice but not what I was expecting, and I'm not sure if it's $50 of nice, especially given pink sand. It's my first TF lipstick, and man, can definitely appreciate the quality. Can't wait for Paradiso, and it really makes me want VV!

Tinted moisturizer is a different animal to regular foundation. Not that one is better then the other. Just as foundations and finish and coverage and our own uniqueness makes foundation or whatever so difficult. Thanks to my Mama and her genetics I NEVER had a zit. Until I started to play with foundations. As well as the work environments we find ourselves in. Some of us are in the sun all day, others night owls, working in kitchens or office space. Or living on airplanes....get GOOD size samples in numerous foundations. Wear them for at least a week straight. No switching back and forth. For those with kiddies think of when you first introduce foods other then breast milk. Heck even with formula with babies. It takes 7-10 days to see if this works for you. Unless of course you get a BAM reaction.
Yeah, it happens a lot. I'm surprised when it ends up being UPS, but it doesn't bother me. It still says Back Ordered, usually before it ships it says Processing and then In Transit. I just wish they'd ship it already since it's showing as being In Stock, it's making me nervous because usually they ship stuff out really fast. That really sucks that your package gets sent to Wisconsin and then back to you. Mine always comes from Connecticut and then comes straight to Minnesota and makes two trips in the state before it gets to me.
My mother has shoes with the Dr. Suess Go Dog Go on them, as well Campbell Soup can labels, etc. and yes, she wears them daily. As my brother I still say to this day, we have a different kind of Mom. the flats, since my Mama's uniform is always oxford shirt, blue jeans or khakis and a navy blazer....no it is not her uniform but that is pretty close to what she always wears. This is the woman who will wear high tops under a 5000.00 formal. Comfort above all else, but her shoes are always funky!!! Might be a very limited portion of the full line. As in fragrances, nail polishes, a few lipsticks, and the men's line. And not the full line of fragrances, lips, nails. As in not the LE. Even online. Remember stores are graded by designers. The designers are pretty careful to keep their product in their target range. Not that there is anything wrong with Macy's. Except they took away the heart of Field's and what that store was built on....yes, I am from Chicago.

They've had a small amount of TF fragrances for quite some time and then I just saw the Men's skincare added. Macy's is definitely not my favorite retailer. I miss Marshall Field's though, the quality was so much better. I just buy makeup and dishes there! lol MF was pretty much like Nordstrom. On a happy note though, there is a Nordstrom being added to a mall by me and will be done October 2nd!
BAM was F&B for me...within 2 days, which was sad because it really was perfect otherwise. I was using clinique cc, but I wanted something with a better match and easier to work with. I have freckles, so I have to lean sheer. I wish I lived near a NM or Nordies with some of these brands to swatch.
