I actually made quite a bit of fun about Universal Appeal not being very appealing lol. But it's a more nuanced shade so seeing it in person makes quite a bit of difference. I have Pat McGrath's LuxeTrance in Lavish which is about as brown as I can go and Wicked Ways is actually less brown than Lavish swatched beside each other!

As for my impressions of the other shades: I haven't received Heavenly Creature yet but it's like the matte version of Spiced Honey. I'm a bit worried it's going to be too pale on me but I have my fingers crossed it'll be ok. From looking at pics on Instagram of some TF SA's swatches (forget exactly who - they did forget to include the shade names though lol), it looked like a lot of the nudes were going to be wearable for me. I have trouble with anything with ochre undertones and the swatches in that pic looked not very ochre-y. In person, Satin Chic and Open Kimono were straight up ochre nudes. All Mine was leaning that way too. I was/am tempted by Spiced Honey but am also eyeing about 4 more Pat McGrath lipsticks so...gotta be restrained haha. Ugh budgets. So annoying!

Wild Ginger is my favourite red from Tom Ford so I'm not exactly the best person to dissuade you from buying it lol. Quite the opposite!

Actually, this reminds me - I was talking to the SA about the discontinued shades and my heart sank when he mentioned Sunset Blvd. It wasn't one of the shades on that list we have so I sort of pressed him and asked if he was sure, whether it was global or regional, etc. He was adamant that it's being completely discontinued. It's one of my other favourite orange-reds (sort of similar to Hiro but brighter and a bit shimmery). I'm wondering whether to get a backup. Anyway, worth a mention and probably worth asking about for anyone here who's interested.

It was really sunny today so I just stepped slightly indoors to get out of the glare. Universal Appeal and Donatella look a bit washed out but hopefully it gives you a gauge of the 'brown' factor XD. I've included two not very flattering lip swatches of me wearing Universal Appeal - I'm probably N12 or so and it's a good wearable nude on me. Donatella is a bit paler, albeit still wearable.

I got Adora, Dangerous Beauty and Night Mauve. I was lucky enough to swatch them at Nordstrom before I bought them from Sephora. Night Mauve reminds me the most of Casablanca. It is brighter and more pink. Adora reminds me of Moroccan Rouge which is my favorite lipstick and I can't find anymore at the outlet. I also think that Adora and Dangerous Beauty are close. On my lips there is a bit of difference in tone, but only I see it.
