So I ordered another palette the other day on backorder, they cancelled it. I just ordered it again. Hopefully they have stock this time.

There you are :twirl:I haven't seen you post much lately so I'm happy to see you  Did you get the palette?

Hello, my dear! I had to have surgery, so life has been a little hectic lately. Not much time or drive to focus on makeup. Especially b/c they don't let you wear it for surgery. How rude! :p
I didn't get the palette b/c I have the single dupes.

I bought the Iris Bronze quad and am seriously disappointed. I don't have any of the singles but I have a lot of the Ford quads and was a really dedicated fan. For me, the quality in this quad is just not there. The pigmentation is an issue as well. The lightest shade, top left, feels super stiff and thin, very hard pressed into the pan. The gold top right is just ok. It’s not particularly metallic, and needs to bebuilt up over several passes to show at all. I’m using a Shu Uemura flat brush –the 10, I think? But I’ve tried it with a bunch of brushes and my fingers and don’tget a much better result. The plum shade bottom right is the best one, IMO. Thebrown … again, pigmentation was lacking and I had a hard time getting it toshow up. I've read the few reviews out there and am puzzled at descriptions that they are creamy (nope) and that the gold shade is super metallic. (Nope.) I feel there are so many better neutral palettes at a better pricepoint. I’m likely going to return it. For the price, the quality is just not upto par. (Plus Spiced Honey looks like corpse makeup on me, and though I likeCasablanca, that mini is not worth enough to keep the set. I was really lookingforward to this palette, especially as I’ve felt like Tom Ford himself seems tohave lost any interest in the brand. In the past few years, the unique productsor colours seem to have stopped and some of his collections just seem odd andunwearable to me. (Really – black eye gloss for spring?)

Hey, if you or anyone else is planning on returning it, I'd love to buy your Iris Bronze quad. I screwed up and missed out on ordering it. <3
