Hmmm... The first swatches and pictures make it look like a total no-go for me, but then the blog photos make me think I could get away with it. Of course, I already have Blankety, which is an amazing nude in the AC formula. I shall see when it arrives in stores next month.

Oooh, I'm so curious about this. Can't wait to see it in person. The last Gaga didn't work for me at all as I look better in warm tones but this one looks like it could work. The picture does make it look really orange but could just be the lighting.

I got to see both the lipstick and the lipglass in person today.

The lipstick, like most of you know, is definitely not gonna work on everyone. In fact, i doubt it would look good on anyone (imo) at or above NC30 or NW30 =/ Unless you want the type of nude lips that look like you rubbed foundation over them. Its a light flesh tone with very little peach or gold undertone. Which is sad because before these Gaga lipsticks came out, the whole Viva Glam range flattered most if not all skin tones. It is an amplified creme, which is cool though =] In short, its about as universally flattering as the last Gaga lipstick...which means its not really universally flattering and it will only work on a few people.

The lipglass is just a more brown version of the lipstick with no shimmer either. Not too exciting to be honest.

I'm excited for the lipstick which I will definitely be pairing with a slightly darker lip liner for a more three dimensional lip look. Anyone with medium to medium dark skintone, I highly recommend trying it on in the store.

well i wont be bhuying it - i dont want another gaga lipstick that doesnt look good on me! it's kinda silly really because i thought viva glam colours were made to be flattering on all skintones - guess that isnt the case with gaga!

all of the viva glam lipsticks work with any skin tone depending on what liner and or gloss u pair with it. i have used viva glam 2 on some with nw45 and nw50 skin tones i just used hodgepodge lip pencil with viva glam 6 gloss over viva glam 2. its possible. i got the viva glam gaga 2 lip glass in my gratis and i will be getting the lipstick none the less cause its for a good cause. many people dont know what the sell of the $14.50 lipstick does. go to macaidsfund.org. for more info it's really astounding what it can do. in 2010 the sale of the viva glam lipsticks raised 202,000,000 with gaga and cyndi being the best seeing campaign to date.

I'll purchase them even if they don't work well for me just because all the proceeds go to the AIDS fund. I have so many l/s and l/g that I've paid full price for, used once and now is sitting in a drawer.....at least the $ from the purchase of the GG2 l/s and l/g won't be totally wasted but will go to a great cause.

I really cannot wait to pick these up! I have a feeling they're going to look strangely good on me, and I love that all of the money goes to the AIDS fund. I'd much rather give these a shot than one of the perm ones, even though I'm pretty indifferent to Lady Gaga.

hmmm this has potential, but def needs to be swatched in person.
Anybody want to sell me their Lady Gaga 1? I've wanted it so bad and it sold out before I could get it.

Or do you think it will ge released again eventually? If so I can wait.

I've looked on other websites for it, has anyone seen it still in stock somewhere?

Something odd I heard the other day. One of the young girls that works at one of my stops told me for Christmas her friend got her all these lipsticks....maybe about 5 from MAC that all like the Viva Glam GaGa but they were all different colors. She has the one from earlier this year and said all the ones the friend gave have the exact same packaging as that one but they are all different colors....ie not the pale blue pink nor this new flesh colored ones. I was thinking they were fake because it just sounds odd to me unless somehow she got samples?? I need to ask her to bring them in so I can see them.

its heartbreaking to lose a pet, its been 7 months and i still miss him like crazy, sorry for your loss erin.

they are aiming to please more people with this colour but i would have liked it slightly more peach, i think it will be blunt on some skintones.

They're definitely fake. I've seen them on E-bay.
