The MUAs in the Aventura store are NOT friendly. They are elitist. Except for one girl. Cassie. She's so sweet. Plus, she's the only one who ever knows about the collections. When I go in to buy stuff when a new collex launches, most of them have no idea what I'm talking about. I have to take them to the display and show them.
I happen to love Eva in the Aventura store. She happily chats with me even on the days I'm just browsing. My fave MAC experiences how ever are at the South Beach Lincoln Rd Pro. Speaking of which does anyone know when this is supposed to show up on Pro?

LOL thank you TheLadyDanger. Guess its one of those that will have to be seen in person and swatched before i decided. Were you also able to swatch or take a look at the fluidlines? The pre-sales i did were based on swatches online so its hard especially for those items that by the description sound great, but without a pic makes it difficult.

I'm a little impatient especially from the craziness of the Marilyn Monroe event...Mac left me a little scarred lol.

My list has grown after reading more descriptions and seeing more swatches. But I hope I can cross things off my list again.. Too many collections are coming up and I'm sure as hell I can't afford everything I want. Lipsticks: Innocence - soft coral (F) Glamourdaze - midtone creamy plum (CS) Dramatic Encounter - deep purple (A) Extra Dimension Eyeshadow: Stolen Moment - dark taupe Fluidlines: Catch My Eye - cool taupe grey with dazzle pearl Powder Blush: Easy Manner - light dirty peach Small Vanity - dusty rose tan

Neri, Addy and Gaby are super sweet! The store manager is also very nice but I can't remember her name right now.

I went to Nordstrom Adventura last night after work to view the GD collection. I will pick up my order on Sat the 27th as I work long shifts Thur & Fri. I would recommend Christie at Adventura Nordstrom, Rob and Marcus at the Mac Store upstairs Nordies. They are supernice and helpful. I ordered all the Kohl eyeliner except Feline. I deliberated on Small Vanity then decided to wait for the mineralize collection in January for blushes. The EDES are really beautiful. I planned on getting 4 initially however swatches changed my list. I still got four (4) but two each of Stylishly Merry and Ready to Party. IMO those two will sell out very fast if not first. I mixed SM and RTP on my eyes with my fingers and I did not want to remove them. Round Midnight was too much of a deep dark backened plum. I may still pick up Stolen Moment if it lingers around however it reminded me a bit of Superwatt and Patina. I realized that not all items are in each location as they did not get Flight of Fancy Lipgloss at that location. I also ordered Impossibly Sweet Lipglass (to die for with beautiful multi-color shimmers that kinda reminded me of Pleasure Principle from Glitter and Ice) Deliciously Demure lipglasses x 2 each. I plan to get FF lipgloss at Macy's when the collection launches. I didn't get the skinfinishes as I already have a Superb and two Glorifies. Don't be fooled by RTP, looks pale pinky white with a hint of lavender however swatches so differently and beautifully!!!! I can justify my doubles by the size, two=one large size, ha ha

I think my question got ignored a few pages back, but I was wondering how do you go about pre ordering something? I've never done it before and I really want to reserve some things

It varies, but most of the counters (Macy's, Bloomingdales) will do it if you call ahead. The MM fiasco was a bit of a fluke. Sometimes they want a credit card number to hold. It really depends on the store in question and their policy. It doesn't hurt to ask.

The SA at my local Macy's told me she could hold when I asked her about a restock on the Shop/Cook collection and that is how I got Naughty Saute.

Hi Amberave! I pre ordered from the Mac counter at my local Macy's. With Macy's, if you have a credit card from them you can either call or go to the Mac counter and place your order. They charge your card and then let you pick up your items the day it releases which is the 25th. Im not too sure on MAC stores or other department stores. Hope this helps a little =)

No I did not get a chance to see the Fluidlines. I will be coming back to check out Feminine Edge Fluidline and now that I've seen a swatch for Dramatic Encounter lipstick, I may have to add it to my list too!

The same applies with Nordstrom. I've never pre-ordered before until Glamour Daze. But basically the SA will fill out a form with your information (name, phone number and your form of payment). The SA listed the items I wanted and told me that when part of the collection gets released on the 25th that the card I listed will get charged. Then again on November 7th, my card will get charged as the other part of the collection gets released.

The SA who was so patient and helpful also mentioned to me that if I have anything to add to the list that I could always call the counter. This is what I'll be doing with the Fluidline and lipsticks.

Hope this helps!

I really like this arrangement. It beats stalking the Mac website and losing sleep which i'm still trying to get back after the MM collection

Oh and i also forgot to mention that if one doesn't have a Macy's card, you can always purchase a gift card but its always best to call or ask in person.

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but the l/s in the nude/peach lipbag is Shygirl. The pink is Lickable. In the touch-up kits, the lipstick with the Medium kit (the lightest shade - the powder is Blot Powder) is Can't Get Enough Sheen Supreme, and the one with the Medium Dark (the middle shade) is Bare Again Sheen Supreme. I swatched and preordered at my Macy's today, and although I don't have pictures, I'll post my impressions later!
