Yes, you can. It might not be identical to Mischievous Mint but it's durn close. I got MM dupes from Revlon, from Essie, and Nicole by OPI. The Nicole was probably LE, but Revlon and Essie still have the colors i got. I think Essie is better in quality than Revlon, but I got the Revlon on a Two-fer, so it was quite the bargain.

I have several MAC Nail Lacquers from 2009, 2010, and 2011 and they go on awfully sheer, need 2, or sometimes even 3, coats, and tend to wear quickly -- and i usually use a base coat and a top coat. I don't know if MAC has improved their nail polish formula recently. Unless the color is highly unusual (like Frayed to Order from the Jeanius collection), i look for less expensive, more durable dupes. But if the formula has improved along with the increase in price, well, i might consider MAC nail lacquers more seriously.

I got Everything That Glitters because it is REALLY nice - the micro-glitter is very very fine - none of that chunky stuff. I do have chunky glitter polishes - i like glitter - but i do get a bit tired of how scratchy it can be. ETG is quite refined - and great for the holidays.

so far my list for this collection is short,,

I just want outrageously fun, whisper of guilt, *easy manner and small vanity*.. (and those are maybe's / waiting for more swatches). I'm also going to skip the sets / bags..

well at least that's the game plan for now..

hopefully I don't cave in when more swatches /pictures come out ..

These are all different from the original release. However, some are related to original colors. So i would say it depends on how much you want colors in the same range.

-- Divine Blue (midtone aqua) is unlike any original color.
-- Stylish Merry (midtone dusty violet - but really duotone fuchsia) is unlike any original color.

-- Tall Dark & Handsome (black with pearl) is related to Dark Dare (charcoal black - with silver), but i prefer TDH as the shimmer is more multi-dimensional
-- Evening Grey (steel silver) is related to Warm Thunder (mid-tone silver grey), but a little darker, and possibly not as blue
-- Ready to Party (pale lilac) is cousin to Young Venus (pale white pink), but obviously a little more lilac than pink
-- Round Midnight (dark burgundy) is related to Rich Core (mid tone aubergine) but has a blacker base
-- A Natural Flirt (soft peachy nude) is kin to Sweet Heat (bright peach champagne) but a bit lighter or muter
-- Stolen Moment (dark taupe) is a distant cousin to Modern pewter (mid-tone olive gold), but browner / tauper

Of the originals, those quite unlike any of the new release are:
-- Blue Orbit (light iridescent purple - more periwinkle with purple duotone)
-- Grand Galaxy (mid-tone violet)
-- Lunar (royal blue)
-- Havana (mid tone copper brown)

Thank you very much!
As others said, the best thing you can do is ask your store in question.

My MAC counter is also at Macy's, but this particular location does not allow pre-orders or even pre-release day holds. They will hold things for you on release day though if you call in after they open. Most Macy's will ship to your house as well, if you're a Macy's cardholder. That has helped me more times than I can count when my counter was out of something or I changed my mind late in the game on a product!

Damn I knew I'd get sucked in by the shadows! I just can't get my list cut down! Lol Now I want Ready to party (a lilac version of my beloved YV, score!), Divine blue, Stylish Merry, and probably A natural flirt. I love Sweet Heat and was sad I didn't get a bu so I don't mind it being similar. After this collection I'm def cutting back on shadows period. My shadow obsession is getting out of hand! Edit: I just can't shake the horrid feeling about the price though. Do you think these colors will come back in the larger sizes down the road?

Glad my verbiage was helpful. I will be getting a camera soon, so i'll be able to post swatches eventually.

I have Let's Skate. Feminine Edge is VERY different. LS is quite pale and an even color, whereas FE is more colorful (still light) and color shifts between warm and cool pink - what can i say, it's more "dimensional". LS goes on very smoothly, but i found FE was a little patchy. I got it anyway, because its chameleon color is unusual. I swatched it with my finger, and i suspect that it won't be as problematic when applied with a brush.

I'm not sure which Maybelline Color Tattoo you have, maybe Pomegranate Punk. I have both Pomegranate Punk (perm) and Fuchsia Fever (LE). PP is a warmer color, kinda cranberry, with warm (gold?) shimmer, while FF isn't really bright fuchsia, more purple, with cool pink shimmer. And neither one is like LS and FE. So they aren't dupes, or even very close.

Hopefully someone can swatch Dramatic Encounter next to Yung Rapunxel, I'm trying to see if it's different enough to buy!

I got invited to the event but they are so rude at my store I would much rather stalk the website.

. Pre-ordering is so less stressful. For me the stress comes into play when I get skippers remorse about an item and then have to join the fray...and maddening hunt for it. I need to be more decisive!

Here are the blushes... she said she'd be posting the shadows soon too!

I'm really trying to cut my list down since there's so many collections coming out. I'm the one looks close to a Nars blush I can't think of the name right now.
