thanks i dont know how i missed when you posted this. omg i have enough with mac.

i like innocence. but i have to admit i have become a lipbalm whore. baby lips, eos, jack black, carmex, tendertones, so my lips are really moist and a perfect canvas. i was fed up with dry lips and decided to hunt down my holy grail lip balm: jack black.

paisley have you tried jack black???
jack black was better than eos? I Might have to try it again. I was not impressed.

Oh dear. T hates FE too.

With all the negative reviews I'm starting to regret buying it. I wish I'd got TD&H EDES instead.
I always think you should test something out for yourself first before giving up on it completely. I've complained about the way Feminine Edge applies. I find it clumpy and uneven. BUT, I'm still keeping it because I really like the color. I'm going to figure out how to make it work for me. I don't wear Fluidlines as a base over my lid and I'm not sure I'll attempt to wear it on my lower lash line either. This is a color I never intended to wear often like most of my other Fluidlines, so I'm fine with only pulling it out once in a while.

You know I love you! LOL, It was Red Dwarf. When that starts to fade on me, I thought it might mimick glamordaze, but now that I've seen it, I don't think it will. It will be similiar, but Glamordaze was straight blah, and garbage on me. BOOOO to brown! LOL
Approaching Storm / Seasoned Plum / Red Dwarf ??????

I think I might have to buy out the entire stock of Ready To Party, I'm in love with this color...so far, I've tried it over NYX Milk and Urban Decay Morphine and both are amazing. It also looks great as a cheek highlighter but I'm trying to not use it for that because of how little is in the pot. I'm really excited to use it on the lid with Divine Blue in the crease.

Yes, that was the pick up order I placed with Nordstrom on Monday. It was ready Tuesday, but I wasn't able to make it to the store until today. I got Glamourdaze x2 and Innocence. I had an Outrageously Fun BU in that order, but it was canceled because it wasn't in stock at the store. I am so happy to finally have my mitts on Glamourdaze. It's such a pretty, effortless shade on me. kimibos was spot on with her description. It's just like Offshoot except Offshoot is a bit lighter. I barely see the difference swatched on my hand and there's no difference on the lips. I'm still happy about that because I just love the color so much. I don't mind having additional BUs for this shade.

Now Innocence on the other hand, that's a completely different story. It looks awful on me. Just pure ewww. The Frost finish makes it worse. My lips look like Tyrone Biggums after he smoked cracked, ate some powdered donuts and then smoked crack again. I must've been smoking something myself to think that this color would work on me.

I'm going to return Innocence to get my Outrageously Fun BU. The money's already spent, so it's not costing me any additional funds to get it. I also swatched Round Midnightand will be buying it, too. It swatched so much better than when I was at the event. At the event it seemed more brown, but this time I could see the purple. That means I would've gotten all of the EDES from this collection. I'm done with this collection after that! Wait, I think I still want a Whisper of Guilt BU. OK, I'm really done after that.
LOL, I got just about everything from the first round of EDES, they are wonderful. i'd be getting RM if I didn't have a bunch of purple shades and Rich core.

Ah! The voice of reason! I completely agree

Perhaps it's actually good that I read less than stellar reviews about it. Now that I have lower expectations I'm going to be thrilled when I find out that it's actually pretty good.

Every cloud, silver (or, in this case, sparkly pink) lining etc...

I went to pick up my order yesterday & finally tried on a couple of colors and ended up switching a couple of items.

Whisper of Guilt
Superb
Little Black Bow
Catch My Eye
Beauty
Innocence
Glamourdaze - Fell in love with this color it looks beautiful with small vanity & superb !
Dramatic Encounter - I love this color its so buildable.
Small Vanity - Its so warm and looks so pretty.
Divine Desire Set in Coral - I returned because the color looked way to bright on me.

Here are some pics of what the colors look like:

I have catch my eye & little black bow on & I swatched them - both very pretty but very glittery !
The application took a couple of strokes to get the full color showing through the glitter.
This will definitely catch some attention & is great for the holiday season !
Also don't mind my eyebrows I had half taken of my makeup and still wanted to play lol !

Below is Innocence & Beauty (left) (I put on legendary blush & whisper of guilt & tantilizer)
Dramatic Encounter & Glamourdaze (right) ( I paired it with small vanity & superb & matte bronze)

Now for my surprise favorite buy glamourdaze ! I tried it on & fell in love! The picture with glasses on today is my look today for work. Great fall color ! But also, in my opinion you have to try this color on because depending on the lighting or even your skintone it can look a little brownish, plumish or mauvy. Happy shopping ladies !

Adding my two cents of opinion (3 cents in Canada the way the US $ is going)

I went to Nordstroms yesterday. Making a haul is too easy and I did not even look at most of the collection with serious interest in buying, just knew that I could not.

I looked at Beauty because you all went ga ga over it. My takeaway is that on its own, I look like a vampire. But topped with a gloss or mixed with another lipstick it is pretty. Of course, I am also going to use a plummy liner with it which will change it up a bit.

Glamourdaze lipstick is perfectly fine and plain to me. I understand why some people are a little nonplussed. I like Oh Oh Oh on me much better straight out of the tube. Glamourdaze is a perfect chameleon color. On its own it is a pinky nude cremesheen; the color kind of reminds me of the Bobbi Brown style range of nude pink/brown lipsticks. There is not brown in this, definitely pinky mauve nude.

Now.........glamourdaze and Beauty together are very pretty. Lay down the glamourdaze lipstick and beauty on top and it is pretty. I also wore it to work today by putting GD lipstick on first and Dish It Up over it. That gave it a plum boost but was not as over the top shocking for me like the Shop Cook lipsticks. I am not a hot pink girl.

I attempted to swatch Nicki Minaj viva glam on my hand, I literally glowed in the dark with all that crazy neon. Definitely not for this NC 15 face.

Ready to party - Madly, Deeply, Truly Love but damn, that little pot is going to vanish fast. I got 2 of those because it is the prettiest shade of lilac and so smooth and easy to apply. A fabulous base color!! I avoided the other EDES because of money and the reality that I did not need to apply all Frost to my eyes get a look at my age. I wore Ready to Party all over the lid with Bobbi Brown Plum Orchid in the crease, brushed out with BB Eclipse on the V (those two colors are from the BB Peony Python Palette). Added Mac Liqiuidlast Liner in black and love it. I also have Warm Thunder from the first set and Blue Orbit, those will both work very well with Ready to Party too. I felt that I should stick with the cooler EDES. Stolen Moment is pretty but is definitely warm. So, figure I will stick with UD Naked 2 for a touch of taupe in the crease.

MAC 4 Lavish Rose Lip Gloss (Guilty Passions Collection), including (L-R) Demure Dazzleglass Creme, Going Casual Cremesheen Glass, Boys Go Crazy Dazzleglass Creme & Colour Saturation Cremesheen Glass
Now ~~ THIS IS A MUST BUY for all the pale cooler girls. The Demure Dazzleglass is so sweet, Going Casual has a Lilac vibe, lighter than flaunting it but sort of that mid to light shade, looks like a great topper to Bobbi Brown Lilac lipstick. Also, all four of these glosses will do wonders for the Glamourdaze lipstick as a base. Boys Go Crazy is absolutely the showstopper in the deep purple with the hot pink and blue glimmer shimmers. Colour Saturation looks like a hot pink at first touch, but spread out a bit, makes a really pretty plum. I don't wear glosses on their own so will love them all over the lipsticks from this set.

I looked at the Nordstrom exlusive nude set. When I applied to my hands, the blush is very warm and dark apricot. The lipstick was also warm and peachy and very unflattering for my skin tone and color. Horrible!

What I like is that you really can find plenty of warm to choose from and plenty of cool with enough separation that you don't have to buy a set that will have pieces that you never use (plenty of those in my stash, over the years I have accumulated enough for a Sephora pop up store). I love purples and found a lot to play with.

I had the smoky eye palette in my pre order and then left it at Nordies. Yes, I like the dark purple and black......but the other colors were chalky (as were the eye duos that came with an eye pencil) and I felt I could get the dark colors I like from my Tartan Tale purple palette which was similar.

I did end up getting two WoG. I really cannot see it but highlighted with quite a few swipes. I really like the subtle sheen and it does diffuse any eye crinkles or hyperpigmentation along the very top of my cheekbone.

Whew...........to any of you still reading, thank you. To those that skipped through due to length, my bad.

From what I have, NYX Coffee comes the closest to Glamourdaze. MAC Hover is also close in color to NYX Coffee, but Coffee leans a tad more pink. I would also pair it with MAC Plum. It brings out the mauve color in Glamourdaze and adds dimension to the lip since it's a bit darker.
Beautiful things start to happen when it's paired with MAC Currant. Currant deepens Glamourdaze's color without making it too dark. I had to add Flight of Fancy L/G on top of it.

I think there are some more pencils that can compliment Glamourdaze based on my hand swatches, but I don't want to wipe off the Currant + Glamourdaze + Flight of Fancy combo to check.
LMSO, too funny!

Me too..

Order Status: Pending
Order Date: 2012/10/23
I ordered within minutes of the collection appearing on the Canadian site. I never pay for expedited shipping since I live in the Toronto area and generally get items the second business day after I order (one for them to pack up the order and ship, arrives the second day). I didn't recieve my order yesterday but I got a Fedex shipment notification last night that it will be here before noon today. I didn't use an expedited code; I wonder if they were slow and upgraded everyone's shipping?

I did also think that Glamourdaze reminded me of many of Bobbi's colors - I am NC15 with hardly any pigmentation in my lips and I found this color really looked more brownish to me - I wore it yesterday and every time I looked in the mirror it just didn't look right on me, kinda off so I ended up layering a dazzleglass that I happened to have in my purse over top of it. I guess it looks different on everyone but I did not find it it be pinky-mauve at all, it was more brownish with almost a dull brick red tendancy - not full out brick red by any means but kinda the brownish look that a brick red color has if that makes sense mixed in with some plum and pink.

I got my first order! I had to place a second order for Stolen Moment because I couldn't stop thinking about it. Anyway, here's my thoughts:

  • TD&H - if you have Blacklit from Electric Cool you probably don't need this because my husband said he couldn't tell the difference. He did add "you should keep it though because those things are tiny." Lol. However, I like the EDES finish and application better than Electric Cool so I was happy with the purchase. Now the addict in me can see the slight difference - TD&H has a better sheen and Blacklit's base is darker. I'm reaching though.
  • Flight of Fancy - love it. I have a ridiculous amount of lip gloss about half of which is purple (shout out to sss215!), however, this color is unique to my stash. I love the glitter and that it's not that overpowering. I usually wear pretty bold lips, but this one is more muted on me. It will be perfect when I want color but need to turn it down a notch.
  • Mystery eyeliner - gorgeous! I'm convinced T posted the wrong picture for her swatch. It really is a black with an awesome teal sheen.

After I get Stolen Moment I hope I'm done. I kind of want Orpheus but I don't think it will really pop on my skin.

I'm positive this has been asked but has anyone compared A Natural Flirt with Tweet Me? I love Tweet Me but if they are similar I don't need 2 of them.
