I honestly didn't see a difference btwn the black and silver 57.  what have you noticed?
We're talking about the 27, right? I didn't comment on the 57. The old 27 had white bristles and was fluffier than this one. It reminded me of the 217, so I always passed on it because it wasn't unique enough. The new 27 has brown bristles, is slender and a little flat for exact crease placement, for my eyeshape. Which is a big difference for me. The new 27 kind of reminds me of MUFE's 17s, which is another eye blending brush that is on the slender side and works better for smaller lid space

I am very pleased with this concealer

Honey scared me so much when I received it! I must say, it worked out nicely once blended on my under eye area and helped to color correct - it just somehow worked (phew!). I had no crease issues with using either fingers or brush (prefer brush though). I think I like it more than pro longwear. The Nars concealer does indeed feel creamier and nicer to blend.
I'm happy with NARS RCC

This concealer is all things amazing. It's become my HG. I prefer it over MAC pro long wear, select cover up, BB, and a host of others. I can finally stop searching for thee one. NARS RCC is so creamy and easy to blend. I use Anande under eyes and for blemishes; use Caramel for highlighting. And unlike my MAC concealers, the NARS concealer looks natural after blending in. I use the Sephora airbrush concealer brush and it just makes the finish that much better. Very happy with this concealer. I must say NARS seems to be on a roll rt now- Im also very pleased with the light reflecting powder. is

Hi everyone! It's been years since i posted on Specktra, glad to see a few familiar faces posting in this thread!

I'm really curious about these new concealers, but before i give them a go, i'd like to know your input regarding their advertised hydrating purpose.

I've used MAC Moisturecover for a while and it was fine but i switched over to Studio Finish as i needed more coverage for my dark circles, however i noticed Studio Finish has worsened my dryness issue.

So, i'm wondering if anyone noticed these new Nars concealers to be hydrating or at least non-drying?

Thank you all!

After letting of my custard, got the concealer in Vanilla. This is the perfect shade for me. I don't know why I did not test it out and just grabbed Custard when I bought it! I relied too much on blogs.

It's difficult for me to tell if they're adding hydration to my under-eye area, given that I use a moisturizer there as well. What I can say is that this concealer stays moist enough that it NEVER emphasizes my crows' feet, but it does cover my dark circles. I find it gives better coverage and is creamier than my previous go-to, the Dior hydrating concealer. I liked Mac Prolongwear for its coverage, which I think is similar to Studio Finish, but I found that it did have a tendency to emphasize lines. Nars is definitely an improvement and I think that you'd be very pleased with the results on this front.

Thank you Kate! I trust your judgment so i'll definitely give these concealers a try ;-)

I went back and bought chantilly today. Vanilla was just way too pink and looked odd on me. I have to say though, that I tried the chanel long lasting as well and I love it! They do not have a really fair color though so I'm hoping chantilly does the trick for highlighting a little under the eyes!

I have oily skin? Is this for me?
you should be just fine with this concealer! its very crease resistent so far for me and i have oily skin, you should apply of some the smashbox targeted pore and line primer or just with an eyeshadow primer, that would really help this last even longer! you will love this concealer!
