Chanel Spring 2015

I've recently tried Chanel skincare for the first time as well and already have been thinking about throwing all my other stuff away! I've got "Le weekend" serum, "Le lift" eye cream and Hydra Beauty Nutrition cream. They're all amazing. 'I'll definitely get the new Hydra Micro serum now as well! I've tried many high end skincare brands before, Guerlain, Shiseido, Kanebo Sensai, Sisley, Dior, etc. and was never really happy. Either my skin simply is "Chanel skin" or their skincare is that much better. I have pretty bad dark circles around my eyes, because I have very thin, sensitive skin. After using Le lift for a few days I could see immediate improvement, the area is much lighter and the skin seems to be thicker. I've never had that effect with any other product. And I really used a lot - worthless, expensive crap!
I've never been a Chanel skincare fan but I have to recognize a great improvement in recent years. Their "le jour/nouit/ weekend " system is great, and I loved their "le lift " cream as well, so I think I'll give a chance to this newborn

OMGosh, I tried the new Hydramax serum  AMAZING at first try. They gave me a sample tube of it to try. It changed the skin on my hand right before our eyes! It smoothed, hydrated & plumped the skin immediately! The skin on the backs of my hands are so dry right now, but it made them silky hydrated smooth. I used it on my face for the first time tonight & it feels SO insanely silky smooth to the touch. LOVE it so far.
Waiting to hear your thoughts about the new Dior's Capture serum

Is this the one? I like how this blogger says it's alcohol-free. How fragrant is it?

@Winthrop44 I applied the Micro Serum to my hand at the counter on Friday and it certainly is noticeably fragrant. I thought it was a delicate, pretty smell, however.

Yes, I have always used & LOVE the Chanel skincare. I have however, recently added the Algenist skincare to use along with my Chanel because its such an amazing line.

I have a sample of the le weekend, but I haven't tried it yet. So many people seem to love it.

The new hydra serum is amazing!

I'm curious about this one- rosey colours can turn nasty on me if they are orange or mauve, however if they are pink enough they can be really nice...I'll have to check it out in person. It looks very pretty in the pic

I'm in on that too! I like the peachy blush. Is it a creme blush?

It looks very pretty - from the pic I think it is, but the name Chiffon Blush is a bit unexpected - maybe a new formula?! Or maybe just a cute name...but they normally keep their product names consistent...good eye Elegant I didn't even notice it!
I want my JC now!!!!!

I was chatting with my SA for a while last week and I could have sworn she said something about them reformulating the creme blushes... Or something. I wasn't too interested in them so I don't remember exactly. Sorry that wasn't too helpful :haha:

I may need to try this after I get through some of the other 50 products that I have in rotation. I never seem to finish one thing before moving on to another but I do
want what's new & effective!!!

If there's a cream blush & a JC I'll definitely need both. I love my Chanel cream blushes and I love my JCs!

I finally caved and bought Tissé Fantaisie and La Petillante. After my recent Tom Ford extravaganza I initially wanted to abstain from buying anymore lipsticks and eyeshadows for at least two months, but those two items are simply too pretty to skip.

And I think Fantaisie will be a really good addition to Tissé Venitien. I can imagine any combination of the two quads are going to work.

Lauren, did you find your holiday highlighter???  I don't think I would have been able to sleep.
I DID! :pompom: I think I mentioned it to EllaS but forgot to post it here! I have a large vanity, and I had checked under it, in case it fell behind..... But I never thought to check the gap between the wall and vanity. The gap was just large enough for it to get wedged between the wall and vanity. it took careful handling with a broom to get it out. I was afraid of it dropping like 3 feet on hardwood floors, and possibly breaking. The compact and product itself came out perfectly unharmed!!!! I can breathe again! :) i also shoved that silly vanity up against the wall so it wouldn't happen again!

I'm officially in love with paradisio np. True, it could have been greener, or more daring but to me it's just pure metallic perfection, a colour perfect for this time of the year with its icy brightness. I love it!

:haha:  The new serum is really amazing especially if someone's skin leans to the dry side. My hands almost feel like sandpaper on top, so I put the new serum on top of my left hand  within 30 seconds the skin on my left hand looked smooth, plump, hydrated & glowy. We laughed at how different it looked than the skin on my right hand. AND, since that day (Sat.) the skin on my left hand still looks way better than the skin on my right!!! The serum is extremely lightweight & disappears right into the skin. I'm wearing it today, & my skin is soooo soft & glowy & hydrated :sweet: I'm definitely getting the full size. Its only $110 LOLOLOL! I was relieved when he told me the price even though its still pricey. At least its not 200+ :D AND IT WORKS!!!! Love the cream blushes too. Like my Sis, I'll need both.
Yup!! #teambuyalltheblushes
