They both look great on you. I'm wearing Vamp 18 today. I held it next to Rouge Noir 18 and was surprised to see that they're definitely different. I put the new
topcoat, Le Top Coat Lamé on an accent nail but it's only noticeable close up.
Rouge Noir is much darker while Vamp appears to have slight shimmer and is browner than RN.

Black Pearl would be awesome to have in the new formula. I'm hoping for Taboo as well, it's one of my favorites. Wear it all the time so I want to get a backup but not if it's coming out in the new formula.

During my last visit in Thessaloniki I found so many Chanel now discontinued nail polishes! I picked Taboo and Black Pearl which I always lusted over! It would be such a perfect marketing move to let the fans decide through online vote in the official site for which shades will come back in the new formula!

My biggest Chanel polish regrets are Jade, Illusion D'Or, and Malice. Forced story time: a) I remember walking by the Chanel boutique on Spring st. and scoffing to my friend about the ridiculous VFNO color in green...yeah. b) I was actually in Shanghai when the Chanel-Shanghai collection came out. My bf at the time goes, " why would you spend money on that?". Yep, just one of many reasons he is an ex. c) I dismissed Malice because I thought it was just another Chanel red. Nope. RD, you might find a stray Taboo or Frisson hiding in a drawer at an airport boutique!

HAHA! Your list reminds me ... Azur is another polish that slipped out of my hands due to my ignorance. I was looking at discontinued polish on ebay and came across a listing of a new Azur for $35.00 from a seller in Dubai...At the time (2011?) I googled swatches and didn't think it was special and just let it go.
