I think the Variation Quad has been reformulated, I bought the 2nd ( you have the 1st ! ), but in the US packaging and shades are different ( square for the US, small globes like the JC blushes ). Variation is really pretty, the 3 quads match the Ilusions d'Ombre, but of course Premier Regard from fall 2012 looks gorgeous too, I will save up money to buy many products from the Fall collection which is so classy.

Winthrop - I have the 'first' Variations quad - I think this looks similar to that one (I need to go get it and see) and the 2 IdOs are beautiful.......I hope I can get my hands on them and Intuition!!

Did you happen to get a chance to check your old Variations quad Cheryl? I think this new Variation without the "s" quad may be different. As far as I can tell the old one was browns?

Variation looks pretty, but a bit sheer. I wish Abstraction can look that pretty on me too. I love those colours but they don't love me back.

Yes, VariationS is definitely browns....the colors listed are Mousse/Almond/Caramel/Toast.........

So this gives me another quad to have a lemming for.....since it sounds like the Fall quad is a bust......

I like the silvery taupe in Variation. It looks a bit more gold than the taupe in Mystic Eyes which ismy favorite colour.

Are we going to be able to purchase the cream shadows separate from the quads? Or are they being sold as a set?

^^. I'm under the impression that they're separate purchases - I think they just grouped the products into color stories. I really want that rosy Ombré !
