All of the Mineralized Eyeshadows look just like the night collection from Nars. Maybe they are very similar because they look like they will have more product than the Nars ones.

(can somebody please make a 'fainted/passed out' smiley?)

Perhaps a 'swoon' smiley?

Hey susanne! You asked earlier if the VAE was for face or body. Its formulated for both actually! I just use it on my face so that I don't use as much and it lasts longer. I use a different scrub from B&BW for my body.

Yeah I also asked about the VAE earlier on and it can be used both on face and body. I may get the VAE this time. This reminds me that I have forgotten about the lip balm I bought last summer, scrub and balm duo. I should start using it again.

Oh wow... adding Blue Flame to my list.

I've never tried a mattene before - what's the benefit to them? What makes them special? (hopefully it's something I don't care about - because so far, I don't want these... but every time I see something or hear about something from this collection, it ends up on my list! :p)

The finish on the lips is matte and simply

And they stay a lot longer on the lips (at least on mine). I guess it's with all finishes, they all have people that love them and hate them.

I'm loving the look of the MES we have seen so far for this collection. I'm just hoping there not chunky, fallout glitter bombs (which they kinda look like they might me). If they are smooth like butter I think I'll have to buy them all. I'm waiting with baited breath for the swatches.

erine said they're chunky like the RSS mes [the glitter stripes in the middle] but are really nice when using them wet.

i find that all mes are 10x better if you use them wet, whether or not they have glitter

i can't wait until swatches though!

hai guiz!
idk if this has already been mentioned (sorry there are just way too many pages of the collection discussion pages for me to go through), but i saw the mac DM this morning.
i leaned in and said, "lemme ask you something: HOW are they going to make that black lipstick work?!"
she laughed and said, "we're actually going through training for it today!" (so i guess trust that the mac MUAs will be able to give you good ideas on how to use it if/when you do.) she also said that "it's meant to be very editorial." yes, it may seem strange to have a black lipstick given that the trend for this year is supposed to be bright colors that pop, like a neutral face and a bright lipstick.
she said that although it is meant to be editorial, there may be uses for it and it's going to be one of those colors you'll have for years and years (because you're not going to wear it every day obviously). so, it should be interesting.

and that is my contribution to the discussion.
stay beautiful, and have a nice day :)
