15/60 secs between posts and searches

Is there anyway this can be altered so that we don't have to wait 60 secs between each private msg to or leave 15 secs between each search?

It's so frustrating sometimes and I'm the world's most impatient person.

The search was recently lowered from 30 to 15 seconds, it helps keep down the load on the servers. As you can imagine the forum is huge and people are querying the database frequently with searches, posting and general activity. These time limits are safeguards against the loads on the server skyrocketing and causing a failure of the server or database. I appreciate your understanding and patience.
