Do you have the original purchase receipt still?

I'd say that your best bet is to go into the store & they should be able to credit you for the difference, but since it's not a common issue, the manager may have to ask someone higher up or something to figure out how exactly to process it.

I'd wait those few days till she calls you back though.

Just wait for her to call you back. Why did you return stuff anyway? So you could get another 10% off? I agree with Miss Starlight, this is probably an uncommon issue the manager has to seek outside help from...so be patient and realize that they want to help you and are not trying to flip blame. There is nobody at fault here. Your patience and politeness will only help you in this matter
