Application Brush for Cream to Powder Foundation

What kind of brush would one use for a cream-to-powder foundation? Any application techniques?

I love MAC 109 for this type of product. Also works wonderfully with liquid formulas.

Alternatively, the MAC 187 works well for me too.

I like to use a flat buffer brush for powder foundation, these days I like this the most, at the end I just spray some Fix + to take the powdery effect off.
For liquid foundation 109
