Are Japonesque Brushes Good?

Hey guys. This is my first thread I've ever made, but I'm a long time lurker.

Anyway, I'm really getting into makeup as an art and want to take it seriously and become an artist. To perfect my craft I feel I need better tools (just using Studio Basics right now) When I was first introduced to MAC the MA doing my makeup whispered in my ear and told me if I ever want to get quality brushes to go for Japonesque as they are just as good as MAC but much cheaper.

I just want to know if you guys agree. Are they quality brushes to keep around in the long run that will last? Any other recomendations?

I have never tried them but I have heard from several people that they are great. A lot of ladies on a BE forum I belong to use them and rave about them.

Yes, they are very good!
I use those in my MA kit.
Just stay away from the mimi sets. I find those to be of lesser quality. The travel brushes are fine it's just the ones that come in a mini set.

I have some of the ones that are sold seperately, and I love the quality. I agree with 'Ness about the mini sets, they remind me of something you'd get in a cheap makeup kit.
