Obviously gently, but are you even suppose to do it all?

I have been lately and I think my undereye area looks brighter/smoother. I'm just wondering what is reccomended by most derms?

I think that it is a good idea, the motions of exfoliating bring blood to the undereye area and help it to look brighter and nicer.

Since the skin is so delicate around the eye area it's not recommended because it can cause wrinkles from the pulling and rubbing of the skin. (also another reason why they don't recommend you rubbing or pulling your skin in that area)

At most I would use a soft washcloth around the area.
