Argh, colored my hair red but..

The bottom half didn't take the dye! At the moment, it's half red and half blonde and this is the second time it's happened. It looks a little ridiculous and I was wondering if there was any way to fix it?

did you use a filler on the blonde part? you have to add pigment back into the hair before you put red over it, otherwise it won't take.

Try Sally's or another beauty supply store in your area.

Like mentioned you need a pre-pigment or filler. They have them at sallys, but make sure you the filler is in the same color family.
When I add red to clients, I will use redkens "red kicker" and a mix of what ever red they're trying for.
