Authencity check please

I cannot for the life of me tell the difference between authentic and counterfeit through one image. I lack a sharp memory, so for those who are more savvy (or have their own brush to compare it with)- can you please tell me if the MAC 187 brush on the left is authentic?

The seller mentions it has been used several times but states it's like new. I'm also little concerned with the stray set of hairs veering to one side, but I could just be really fussy.

It looks kosher to me, just very well used.

it looks worn, so the seller was lying it's not "like new"
but it looks fine to me
