Books! Reading!

I'll need something new to upon finishing the current series I'm reading, thus it is time for a book thread so I can get ideas.

Currently Reading:

• A Storm of Swords, George R.R. Martin (Book 3 of 'A Song of Ice and Fire' aka HBO's 'A Game of Thrones')

Recommended:

• The Wheel of Time series, Robert Jordan & Brandon Sanderson, 14 books
• Sword of Truth series, Terry Goodking, 12 books

I can't remember the other two I was gonna put there, think one was a trilogy by Elizabeth Moon....If you can't tell, I enjoy me some sorcery and swords though I'm not averse to other genres.

How about you? What books would you recommend?

...Except Twilight. I don't care for Twilight. Vampires should not sparkle.

Have you read The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon or the Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong?

I'm rereading all the Jane Austin novels.

I can't say that I have, but that's what the thread is for! I shall consider those for once I finish[FONT=helvetica, arial, sans-serif] aSoIaF. Don't know why but I have trouble getting into modern-day paranormal stuff, plus I'm very picky about my vampires but I'll at least give it a shot.[/FONT]

Hated Austen when I originally had to read her for school, but I have come to really appreciate her. "Emma" is probably my favourite.
