Brows: Brow Pencil vs Brow Shadow your thoughts

I have been using a great brow pencil from Lancome for a while now and I think it looks great, but I have also been considering using a brow shadow when my pencil is used up. What in your honest opinion do you think gives a better shape to the brow? Please let me know your thoughts and how you use your product.

maybe fillling the empty parts with a shadow and then finishing with a brow set. or even if you use a pencil. using a brow set makes it look better in my opinion.
