I saw the same posting a few weeks ago. $20 is frikken cheap for that brush!
I wouldn't...but I'm no pro at spotting fake brushes.
Maybe ask her?

LOL, isn't that cheap? I guess if it was fake she MIGHT be honest about it..but not sure. I will ask. I am no pro at all about fakes either

IMO, the picture is not clear enough - I can't tell since it is not very close up.

Looks fake to me. The silver on the real 187 is much more crimped than it is showing in the picture.

Like everyone else, I think it probably is a fake.
I was just comparing it to mine and the crimp on mine looks way more defined than that...but I am also not sure how much the photo quality is degraded in that post. From my experience from using craigslist, sometimes crisp photos can end up weirdly warped when uploaded to the ads (I know from when I sell electronics on there).

You can ask the seller for a close up of the metal and see if they will email a picture of that to you.

it's most likely fake -but because the photo is blurry (done on purpose perhaps) we can't be sure!

Thanks everyone. I called this person and they said they 'think' it's real becasue they got it from a friend. They said they didn't know much about brushes but the bristles were soft...I will ask for a pic.
