Monsy, oh Monsy-------My Chance Eau Fraîche arrived today. I really like the predominant fresh citrusy fragrance---it's sporty, if you will but I like the
floral end notes. I have to say, I prefer Chance Eau Vive because its predominant floral notes play more to my preferences. All in all they're both winners for me!!!!

That photo is lovely! I like the chance line, I'm curious to try the new flanker. I think most people complain that the newer versions of most fragrances have very short longevity. And with IFRA rules that have restricted ingredients, I think many of Chanel's newer bottles have that problem. Vintage bottles have much longer longevity. I had a bottle of Cristalle, I liked it at first and grew tired of it. I gave it away, but it was probably one of the formulas that lasted a long time. I like the newer Cristalle au Verte anytime I've sprayed it on me in the store, it reminds me of the original but also has a newer twist. However the longevity is very short. I sometimes feel I'd like to wear something everyone else isn't wearing, that's why I like the Cristalle au Verte. I think Coco Mademoiselle is very well done, and I like Coco Noir. But so much of fragrance has to do with skin chemistry as well as personal preference. I like Allure as well. I only have a sample, and I like to wear it, but again I don't feel it lasts very long on me.

Used to wear chance eau tendre and it had been a signature scent which made hubby fall head over heels for me (his word, not mine lol) but in the past year, i've developed some allergic reaction to fragrances. I gave my unopend 150ml eau tendre to my sis afterwards

I have an ongoing love affair with Chanel fragrances.
I adore Chanel No5. Coco mademoiselle, Chanel N019 and No19 POUDRE

I know coco mademoiselle is so popular, but it smells so amazing on me and lasts a long time.

That's TRAGIC!!!!! I think I'm getting that one next. Are you sure these aren't seasonal allergies??? Once active you can be sensitive in terms of your symptoms being more severe and
aggravated by many things, including fragrance. I'd have to find a pill or an App for that!!! I hope you're feeling better.

I agree Coco Mademoiselle is a good one! I guess there is a reason it is so popular... No5 was groundbreaking historically, I think I have a sample of Eau Premiere version, I should try that one again...

Do any of the fragrances change your mood? For example, do you think any of them make you happy, energize you, put you in the mood for a night out, etc. Which ones would you say evoke which emotions?

I feel Coco Mademoiselle is great for a dinner out.
Chance is great to wear in the morning when running around, doing errands.

Coco mademoiselle edp has been my signature scent for years. I love to layer the fragrance with the shower gel and body oil or lotion. I find the edp lasts ages on my skin, I can put it on after my shower in the morning and still smell it when I've come home. Its my favourite scent and I get lots of comliments on it too.

I find No5 makes me feel relaxed and pretty. I love the powdery and clean. Coco mademoiselle makes me feel sexy... Chanel No19 and 19 poudre is fresh and makes me feel alert
mademoiselle is a great evening scent, I agree. I have a date this weekend and will do the coco mademoiselle layering effect for it:)

Great thread! I have Beige, loved and finished my bottles of Chance eau fraiche and coco mademoiselle. I love, love Chance edp but it doesn't smell good on me, too sour. This is my greatest regret among all the chanel fragrance. I like No. 5, the smell does remind me of bills though lol.

So adorable to have a set!

I developed some rashes but I'm unable to determine what the cause it and I suspect it could be perfume or medication. What is your allergic reaction? I tried Eau Vive on me. Its a fresh scent and strong, not weak or diluted. It reminds me of a male cologne after a short while. I like male cologne but not enough to buy Eau Vive for now. I feel it has the chanel strength but not the depth/sophistication of other chanel fragrances.
