Here's a photo of the shadows applied wet (I used regular water).

Oh don't, they are just great ! The quad is not available here, well :sigh: I picked up Dior Blue Lagoon and Peacock, strongly recommand them !
I also bought Dior's Blue Lagoon and I much prefer that to this Chanel quad. I'm not sure I like the baked shadows. They are so powdery and seem to disappear when you start blending them. I think I'd have to use them wet all the time and I'm not sure I wanna bother with that. The Dior shadows on the other hand are so lovely and smooth w/o all the powderiness...

Ah, that's too bad. The baked ones are often disappointing. I actually like your first set of softer swatches more than the wet ones, but I like soft looking eye makeup.

Here's my quad and swatches...I sort of like the quad, and I like the softer colors, like Winthrop said...

I swatched verrrrrrrrrrrrry lightly...I didn't want to ruin the quad before I got some decent photos :p

Thank you for this info. Still debating the quad. I haven't ordered it yet. I wish that I could see it in person before deciding.

It looks beautiful in your pics Rads!
I think I will just keep it..it feels softer than my older quads (though that could be because this new) and no big chunks of glitter...hopefully i will still like it when I use it :D

After seeing the actual swatches of the Chanel quad, I'm conflicted. The colors are nicer than I thought! I haven't had much luck in the past with Dior quads (they tend to be really dry), but I really like the look of Blue Lagoon.

I'm not sure what to do about getting any of the shadow sticks or not. At first I was really interested in Moon River (mostly because of the name- Breakfast at Tiffanys is my favourite movie lol), Jade Shore, Pink Lagoon and the blue one, but after seeing swatches I can't decide. I feel like I NEED to get one just because they're something new from Chanel which is my favourite makeup brand. I absolutely love my illusion d'ombres but something about the texture of these shadow sticks is putting me off, not really sure what it is. I think if I do get one it will be either Moon River or Jade Shore as I can't really see me using the other colours much. This collection isn't out here in the UK yet so I have some time to decide. Pygmalion looks so pretty in your swatches elegant-one. I'm definitely tempted to pick this up when it launches.

Have you tried just patting them on? My biggest problem with the baked quads is usually glitter fallout and lack of pigmentation, and from your swatches this one doesn't look like it would have those issues?
