Dear MAC, Please oh please - make a frosty true red pigment!

Seriously though, has anyone ever mixed pigments to make their own frosty bright red pigment? I'm considering doing this and would love suggestions!!!

I have tried it so many times! It's sooo damn hard to find a good true red eyeshadow these days and i hate kryolan.

when i am in need of red...i use red lipstick, and then dust transparent powder over it to take away the takiness.

Surprisingly, it works.

I will sometimes use Frankly Scarlit blush on my eyes or Ben Nye's red powder color pressed. Both of these have given a bright red shadow effect for me.

Glassjaw, why do you hate Kryolan? I was thinking of picking up some of their colors.

As for the red, I like to use MAC's (pro only) Red Brick and layer a little bit of Coppering over it to get a nice shimmer.
