Do I need Top Hat e/s?

I skipped Top Hat e/s when it was first launched in Starflash cause I was on a budget. I saw that mac still has it online and am wondering if I need it or not.

Current purples:
Lovely Lily p/g
Quietly p/g
Parfait Amour e/s
Fig. 1 e/s

Does Top Hat appear "black-ish" on the eye? Cause it does look really dark on some of the swatches here. Or should I just get Satellite Dreams e/s instead. Is Top Hat too dark for everyday wear?

I'm a NC25, for reference.

I don't have top hat but I think you can skip on it. There are so many other purples out there. Nocturnelle is a good one in place of top hat IMO. Shadowy lady is another good matte purple also. I hope that helped!

Top Hat reminds me of "Cassette" from the Heatherette Trio ..so I def. passed on that one when it came out.

I have a lot of purples and i still got Top Hat, i don't have anything like it. Judging from the purples you have i think that you need it. It's great to use in a purple smokey eye look.

I have it and I also agree its the same as cassette from heatherette trio.

If your looking for a dark smokey purple then get it, but if not, don't buy it just cause its still avaliable. Shadowy Lady is just as good.

I have it, I have a lot of pruples also...I don't really use it. I use Satellite Dreams much more or even shadow lady. I think it looks too murky and you really need to build the colour up (at least I do).

I bought it because it was more pigmented than something similar in my makeup drawer. It's used occasionally but Nocturnelle is used more.

I bought it since it's more purple-blueish than nocturnelle and satellite dream which I sold, those were a bit too purple-pinky for me.. don't have amour parfait yet but it seems lighter than top hat, maybe those two would make a nice combination when worn together
