eyeshadow change color???anyone?/

I did a search and could find any info on this subject
So help me out...please....

Today I did a Pink and Black look ( Sushi Flower, Poste Haste ,Carbon and black Tied)and as time goes by the pink and black turns into a purple.
I used a based...bare study. purple is fine but i was going for Pink and Black.
I have had this hapen to be before with other pinks and blacks.
Does anybody have any tips? does this happen to you?
What am I doing wrong?

It happens because usually black has a lot of blue in it. So you'll get greens when you mix black and yellow, and purples when you mix black and reds. I've had passionate turn purple on me before.

I've had this happen to me using silver on the inner corner and pink on the outer corner. They mixed and turned purple.
