Faultlessly Lipstick

I just received my MAC order in the mail and in it I have my Faultlessly lipstick from F/W collection. I just wanted to say that it is a gorgeous deep purple color...it reminds me of Sketch eyeshadow. I did not think it would go nice with my tone NC45/NC50 mix, but it does and everyone likes it. I'm glad I got it. That's all I wanted to say.

It's fierce. I lighten mine's up a bit with Frozen Dream l/g and a very neutral eye.
It reminds me of a Mary J. Blige look.

Today I'm rocking a light smokey eye with this lipstick so I'm kinda coming off like a soft Grace Jones, but the compliments here at work are coming out of the walls. This lipstick has definitely changed my look up quite a bit. This is my first "dark" lipstick so I am beaming right now.

it did not work for me

I tried it in the store and it just looks awful with my complexion (NW25/30). I have other dark lippies that look great on me (Night Violet and Kirsch Mattens and Nars Damned), but this one just didn't work.
