I have the HIP potted gel/cream liners in black, brown and green and plan on getting the purple and blue soon. I find the applied product to be less resilient than MAC's Fluidlines (gets smudgy quicker) but at the same time you're given much more product, the stuff is much smoother and slicker and extremely pigmented, and it doesn't seem to dry out in the jar as quickly as MAC's or Smashbox's liners. I remember buying a jar of Smashbox liner in that nice navy blue shade when I was 16 or so and being so disappointed that it almost completely dried out within a very short period of time. I've had my Fluidlines for about 3 or 4 years now and all of them are shriveled and dry in their pots as well, and started getting that way at least 2 years ago.
I find that with primer potion underneath or Kryolan's fixer spray on top it stays MUCH longer.
So, anyone else use HIP liners? I wish they'd come out with a zillion more colors!
