Digital Camera! I've been wanting one for a while now, but now my camera won't even load pics onto my computer anymore. I have a Kodak right now, I got it like, 3 years ago or so. It's basically crap now, mainly 'cause I didn't take very good care of it...:durrr: I dropped it a couple of times..haha So yeah! Anyone have any advice? I'm not gonna spend over $400, I doubt I would even spend over $350. But any help is much appreciated.

if you're into ameture (sp?) photography and likes great pics, try Fuji FinePix S5600, it's great to use, but it is a tad bulky but nonetheless quite light so dont let appearance decieve you. I bought it for £223 GBP

the site has a review on the camera, discusses what features it has etc...

Are you planning on doing fun snapshots (so portability is key) or fancier photography?

Kodak makes some cheap, cute cameras that work well. Canon is a favorite among digital photographers. The key to getting a cheaper camera is look around at those sites that do price-comparison. The differences can be drastic

Mostly just for everyday picture taking. I have a kodak now...and it really sucks. So I don't know if I wanna take a chance and buy another Kodak.

i have a sony cybershot DSC-P73 & i HATE it! i would NOT recommend a sony camera. i've only had mine for 2 years & it's a piece of garbage. i've heard the canon powershot is a good camera.. that'll probably be my next buy. HTH.

i have a cannon powershot and I LOVE IT. its great for everyday picture taking of friends . makeup..etc. and it was only around 170 dollars . I think. I dont remember. it was on sale at best buy.

stay away from cameras made in china. and megapixels arent everything so dont let a salesman talk you into a zillion megapixels. because you dont need them . anything more than 3 or 4 is overkill for everyday picture taking.

Canon or Nikon. Both are manufacturers that make a solid product, and have an extensive range to choose from. You can find a nice one in your budget no problem.
