Hey you guys! So i want to apply, ive ALWAYS had a passion for makeup and im an artist at heart. I have the self taught skill and creativity and personality to succeed in this field. I know many want to work for mac, cause its "in". ive always wanted to but was discouraged when i was 19 because an employee had told me i need 2 years experience working as a makeup artist and i needed a cosmetology license. I
I understand you need retail experience. ive worked at banana republic for 7 months but just stopped showing up....hardly any hours. i know thats not a good luck but i had my personal reasons. ive also worked as a cna so im extremely well with people.
1. how should my resume look?
2. should i get a portfolio together?
any other advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks you guys!
