Ikea Alex Unit in BLACK!!!

Hi everyone,

I know the tall white alex unit from Ikea is a popular storage choice, and I was just checking out the website and found a different size Alex in black!! So sleek! Just wondering if anyone has used this unit (in either color) and if it has been useful? pros and cons? Thanks!

I bought the taller version in white - it would be great if they make a taller version in black as well one day.

I've never used it but from what I've seen in store it is quite large and the upper drawers are not very deep. When I see this all I could imagine it being used for is like for artists to stash large pieces in it!
