Is this MAC 190 fake? I got it in a swap, they said it was genuine

I'm a little suspicious of this brush. There's glue hanging off of it. The printing is a different compared to my other brushes and looks like it won't chip off. And it says USA on the back of the brush instead of the country on the front of the brush like my other ones.

I am sceptic - it looks like a fake to me. The quality looks cheap, especially the hairs.

It's not a fake. Though it does seem pretty sketchy, it's not.
I just pulled out my 190 to compare. I purchased my 190 directly from a freestanding store. It DOES have USA engraved on the back of the handle.

I have had a previous 190 which was crappy. The glue came undone before I washed it so there was no rotting of the handle.

What could be the problem is the swapper either got a botched one like I had, OR she simply washed the brush wrong which caused the handle to rot and the glue came undone then tried to glue it back.


But nope you have an authentic.

the bristles look NOTHING like my 190 brush...so i'm suspicious of it.

I just compared mine to yours.. mine bought directly from mac too. I dont take the risk to buy brushes other than mac store itself. I would have to say that everytime i wash my 190, it will look exactly like yours. Mine engraved USA too. I think its authentic. (=
