definitely genuine, there's no such thing as fake MSFs (yet!) because its too much trouble, compared to producing fake eyeshadows etc.

the color and veining in the picture is the real deal as is the packaging

I agree! It would be really obvious if a MSF were fake because of how unique they are, unless someone were trying to pass off another brand as a MAC one. This one looks genuine though!
