Looking for a shampoo to help me red hair fade...

for the 1st time I want to fade my red hair & go a shade lighter, I use pureology & wanted to know if their was a shampoo that won't dry or damage my hair to get some fading to go a shade lighter. TIA

I don't know what's available in your neck of the woods, but I've always found Pantene (not their colour care range, obviously!) to drastically fade my hair in a couple of washes. I use a mixture of SFX pinks which are usually long-lasting, but Pantene strips it out while leaving my hair in good condition.

I suppose others may have different experiences, but that's what I would suggest. (I stopped using it as I certainly didn't want to fade my colour!)
